JUNE 2023

Well the VICIOUS BOYS scrubbed up well for a very sad day.
Today we said farewell to our brother Steve Downes, METAL HOBBIT and Merch Man Extraordinary. It was an absolute pleasure to see the amount of people who's lives Steve touched attend his funeral and wake today. Not a dry eye in the house but a fitting tribute to such a lovely man...
Rest in Peace brother.

MAY 2023

VICIOUS NATURE have been working on new material ready for their next venture into the studios later in the year.

Once again Owen Davies will be assisting the guys in Loud Noises Studio.

APRIL 2023

It is with great sadness that we must inform you that our Vicious brother, merch man extraordinary and Metal Hobbit Steve Downes was taken from us whilst out on tour with Darker My Horizon in Belgium.

Steve was such a kind soul that this world will be a far worse place without him in it...

Our thoughts are with all of his family and many many friends at this sad time, but take comfort that he went out doing what he loved, in a country he loved with friends around him.

RIP METAL HOBBIT. Go to the great merch stall in the sky, you leave a massive hole behind you.

Just a quick note to say thanks you all for your continued support, and to let you know that, due to an operation on JB's shoulder, the band will be out of action while he recovers.
All should be OK for Andy's birthday bash gig in March though. See you there?

VICIOUS NATURE and crew would love to thank all of our fans in Belgium and Europe for making us feel so welcome during our last shows. A special shout out to Nico and Sabine for looking after us and turning their home into VICIOUS HQ during our stay.

FEBRUARY 2022

Well it's been a while but Vicious Nature are pleased to announce that they have finally found the new man to front the band moving forward.

Before we say who it is, we would love to thank the many of you that got in touch and auditioned for the gig.

We were overwhelmed with the response and had applicants from Australia, Canada, the US, all over Europe, not to mention those from the UK.

As luck would have it, and a chance phone call to one of the two vocalists we originally approached, it was revealed that his situation had changed thus allowing him time to commit to VICIOUS NATURE.

So we are pleased to introduce the Awesome MATT GORE as our new vocalist/ front man.

Many of you will know him as the voice of The Mighty Wraith and Devils Dice and he is a well known and respected figure on the Midlands Metal circuit.

His voice, tone and attitude fit perfectly with what we do and we are looking forward to exciting times ahead.

See you out on the road very soon.

VOCALIST SEARCH UPDATE

OK so it's been a while since we last updated you all on the current situation regarding a new vocalist. As you are all aware we have had a lot of interest from the UK, Europe and more recently Australia. There have been some great vocalists contact us but none are sitting right with what we do.

Our latest applicant from a very well established Midlands based band is an awesome vocalist and front man, however his style of vocal and tone, in his own words, "makes the band sound weak". Hence we are back to square one yet again!

The search continues... STAY SAFE, STAY VICIOUS!!!

We are looking forward to 2021 and getting back out there with a new line up and some new material.

Following the recent departure of singer Andy Pyke we are currently working our way through blogs and demos sent in by vocalists and apologise for any delays in responding.

Due to unforseen circumstances, VICIOUS NATURE will no longer be supporting Anvil in March.

Anvil's promotion team have informed the venue's promoter at The Red Lion Machynleth that he has to use Anvil's own support bands.

We apologise to all of those who have bought tickets expecting to see VICIOUS NATURE and the other bands lined up for this show.

Rest assured we will be back there later in the year.

Due to unforseen medical issues, MARK CULLEY won't be joining the band on the upcoming Euro Treck.
The magnificent PADDY will be stepping in on bass duties during this period.
MARK will be back in the new year as the band are currently writing and recording new material for release in 2019.

In association with TOR Records, the new 7" vinyl release from Vicious Nature will feature the new song The Silence That Kills which was previously only available on the DVD Ex Cineribus.

Limited to 300 copies, the single will feature black and red vinyl, be individually numbered and also come with a Manga style depiction of the band designed by Koichi Vivian Mori.
